Custom packaging factory · Guangzhou, China
Different products, markets and order sizes get different answers. Tell us what you ship, and we propose the box, material, insert and finish that fit — then produce it.
The same product, three answers
Packaging is not one product. The answer depends on the channel, the quantity and what the box has to do after it leaves the factory. Here is how the same jar is packed for three different briefs.
First run · 500 pcs
Low entry quantity, artwork can change between runs, and unit cost stays controlled while the product is tested in market.
Gift set · 3,000 pcs
The box is part of the product at this price point. Opening resistance, texture and shelf presence matter more than unit cost.
E-commerce · repeat orders
Compression strength for courier routes, a tear strip that opens without a blade, and a pack that closes in seconds.
Same jar, same artwork file. Only the box, board and insert change — and that is a decision made with your product in front of us, not from a catalogue.
Solutions by situation
Most packaging problems start with a constraint — order size, deadline, budget or channel. This is what we propose for the six briefs we see most often.
| Your situation | What we propose | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| New brand, first run | 500 pcs per size, digital print, standard insert | Dieline + digital sample |
| Premium gift, texture matters | Magnetic, drawer or lid-and-base box with foil and emboss | Dieline + production sample |
| E-commerce, must survive transit | Corrugated mailer with a fitted insert and tear strip | Dieline + packing data |
| Multi-SKU set | Divided insert inside one outer box | Assembly sample + insert dieline |
| Budget is fixed | Folding carton instead of rigid box, fewer finishes | Cost comparison + two dielines |
| Seasonal, tight deadline | Existing box shape with new print, expedited sampling | Dieline + confirmed sample date |
Send these five and the answer comes back specific instead of generic. Miss them and we have to ask, which costs a day.
| What we need | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Product shape and weight | Box type, board grade, insert |
| Sales channel — shelf, e-commerce, gift | Print coverage, structural strength, opening style |
| Order quantity and reorder rhythm | MOQ, printing method, unit cost |
| Budget range | Material grade, number of finishes |
| Launch date | Sampling and production schedule |
100+ box types, from lid-and-base, magnetic, drawer and folding cartons to corrugated mailers, paper bags and paper tubes. Board from art paper and kraft to greyboard and corrugated. Finishing from foil and emboss to spot UV and lamination.
Every box type carries the same entry point: 500 pcs per size. The dieline, the sample and the bulk order come from the same specification, so what you approve is what gets produced.
How we work
The order matters. Specification is fixed before anything is quoted, and the dieline is issued before a sample is made — which is why quotes hold and samples get approved first time.
2–3 packaging options with the trade-offs stated
Locked specification and an itemised quote: material, print, finishing, tooling, sample, packing, freight
Dieline PDF with your artwork placed and finishing positions marked
Digital printed sample in 3–5 days; production-run sample in 7–10 days, with photos and a signed sample sheet
15–22 working days after sample approval, with inspection records, packing data and shipping documents
Sampling
Printed and assembled to check design, colour and finish combination before committing to a run.
Approval
Made on the same board and process as bulk. Your signed sample becomes the inspection reference.
Production
Counted after sample approval, with inspection records, packing data and shipping documents.

If your question is not here, send it with your specs — the answer comes from the person who will quote the job.
500 pcs per size, across every box type. Each size needs its own dieline, so a design produced in three sizes carries three minimums.
A digital printed sample takes 3–5 days and is used to confirm design, colour and finishing. A production-run sample takes 7–10 days and is made on the same board and process as the bulk order.
15–22 working days after the sample is approved. The range covers finishing and hand assembly, which vary by box type and season.
We have produced for customers in over 100 countries. Freight is quoted per order, by sea, air or courier, depending on volume and date.
A vector file — AI, PDF or EPS — with fonts outlined, plus images at 300 dpi at final size. If you only have a flattened file, we can work from it and flag what needs rebuilding before sampling.
A deposit at order confirmation and the balance before shipment. Tooling and sample fees are quoted separately and credited against the bulk order where stated in the quote.

Send five things — product, channel, quantity, budget and target date. We come back with two or three options, the trade-offs between them, and an itemised quote.
