Option 1
Sleeve and tray
Outer sleeve with an inner tray. The tray carries a ribbon or a die-cut finger notch so it can be pulled out.
Box type
A drawer box separates the reveal into two movements: the sleeve slides, then the tray comes out. That pause is useful when the product needs a moment — a bottle, a watch, a set of samples — and it keeps the outer surface free for a clean print.
Not on the list? The construction does not change — the board, insert and finish do. Send the product details and we will tell you which of these options fits.
Each option changes the dieline, the assembly time and the unit cost. We quote the two that fit your brief rather than all four.
Option 1
Outer sleeve with an inner tray. The tray carries a ribbon or a die-cut finger notch so it can be pulled out.
Option 2
Two stacked trays inside one sleeve, for products split across two layers.
Option 3
An internal stop keeps the tray from sliding out completely, which protects the product during handling.
Option 4
A clear window in the sleeve shows the product while the tray is closed.
Material and finish are specified per project and confirmed on the sample. Where a material claim matters — recycled content, plastic-free insert — the specification states what the material is, so the claim can be checked rather than assumed.
Fixed specification, then dieline, then sample, then bulk — in that order.
Product, quantity, channel and date fixed. Itemised quote issued.
Dieline PDF issued with your artwork placed and finishing marked.

15–22 working days after approval, with inspection and packing data.
Tight enough to hold position in transit, loose enough to open with one hand. We set the clearance on the dieline and confirm it on the physical sample — this is the main reason we sample before bulk.
Yes. Ribbon type, width and colour are specified with the artwork, and the ribbon is anchored inside the tray so it cannot pull free.
It uses more board and more assembly time, so it usually costs more than a simple two-piece rigid box at the same size. We quote both constructions side by side when the choice is open.
